Bobs Track Builder Pro 0.8.0.3 C is a versatile and easy to use program for the creation of model train tracks, as well as designing layouts and laying out the track on your layout board for your model railroad, HO scale train set, or other model railroad set up with HO gauge trackwork running in either direction around a central turnout that changes the direction of travel from left to right or right to left depending on whether you are going "up" or "down. This program is well suited to the beginner, whether toy world model railroad or fully functional real world railroad modeling. It allows you to create your own custom scenery - buildings, hills, lakes, rivers, bridges and so on - in addition to creating your track layout. The program can be used for other types of model railways using different gauges of trackwork. Bobs Track Builder Pro can also be used for train simulator type models where lines are created that are then driven by a train navigation script to simulate true operation. Bobs Track Builder Pro uses a unique coordinate system based on inches. One inch = 1 unit. This provides infinite flexibility in the creation of new trackwork while simplifying the process of using old track work or saved layouts. The units for height are feet while width is in inches.
